Tournament Rules

No tobacco, drinking, playing of electronic games, use of cellular telephones or unnecessary delay of game will be tolerated during the tournament.

All bowlers will use their highest current league average with a minimum of 9 games completed as of December 15, 2024.

All bowlers will use their highest 23/24 season youth league/high school average. Bowlers who do not have a 23/24 season youth league/high school average, may use their current highest youth league/high school average. A current youth league/high school standing sheet must accompany all entries. Note: Because High School bowls on a challenge pattern, high school averages will be converted to a standard average. The highest between youth league average and converted high school average will be used.

All entrants MUST be a certified member of the USBC and the St. Joe Valley Association.

Proper attire must be worn at all times. Shirts must be worn. NO SHIRTS OR EQUIPMENT WITH OBSCENE ADVERTISING, LIQUOR OR SMOKING ADVERTISEMENTS WILL BE ALLOWED. NO HALTER/CROP/TANK TOPS, HAT AND/OR SHORT SHORTS WILL BE ALLOWED. The Tournament Officials will decide questionable attire. All necessary undergarments must be worn. Any breach of these standards will result in the loss of bowling privileges.

THE DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES AND FEES WILL BE JANUARY 11, 2025 @ 5 PM.

Teams shall consist of 4 bowlers (boys, girls or co-ed). Doubles shall consist of 2 boys, 2 girls or co-ed.

Falsification of any entry will result in automatic disqualification from the tournament and loss of entry fees.

After the official scorer and individual contestant have turned in a score sheet, it cannot be changed except where this is an obvious error in scoring (changes such as this can only be done by a tournament official). Score sheets cannot be recopied. All corrections must be on the original score sheets. NO BLIND SCORES WILL BE PERMITTED.

Bowlers must check in at the tournament office NO LATER THAN 30 minutes before their scheduled start time.

Bowlers arriving late must start bowling in the frame the shift is bowling in at the time he/she is ready to bowl. NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO CATCH UP MISSED FRAMES.

No switching dates, times or line-ups after the schedule is set up. In case of an emergency, it will at the Tournament Officials discretion to make any changes.

Handicap is based on 90% of the difference of the bowler’s average and 220.

Handicap award and only 1st place scratch awards will be given in each division. Scholarships and an award will be awarded in scratch all events only. Awards will be given to all top finishers based on 1 to 10 entry ratio.

You will bowl singles first then doubles events. Multiple entries will be accepted.

No more than 2 of the same bowlers on a 4 person team.

A bowler must change partners to bowl doubles again.

A bowlers first set in each event will make up his/hers all events.

FOOD AND DRINKS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE BOWLERS CIRCLE!!

Only persons with official tournament business will be allowed in the bowler’s area.

This tournament will be conducted using the co-ed format.

NO FLASH CAMERAS MAY BE USED DURING THE TOURNAMENT.

No refunds will be allowed.

APPEALS MUST BE FILED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF PARTICIPATION TO THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR.
All fees must accompany entry application or entry will be returned.
COACHES: Include a league standing sheet with bowler’s current averages dated 12/15/24 with tournament applications.
Tournament date/times are on a first come, first serve basis.
