We believe sharing the accomplishments of those how have made our sport better is one of the most meaningful things we can do. Our St. Joe Valley USBC Association Hall of Fame honors outstanding individuals who devoted their lives to bowling through Meritorious Service, Superior Performance, or are a Star of Yesteryear.

HALL OF FAME NOMINATIONS

If you are interested in submitting the name of a candidate for the local Hall of Fame, please complete the form below and return no later than January 1, 2025.

All nominations should be submitted in writing with a detailed history of the nominee. Nominations shall be retained for a period of three years, after which time they must be updated for consideration. A letter of support of the nominee may also be submitted with the nomination form.

NOMINATION CATEGORIES

Meritorious Service

  • Recognition for individuals who have contributed at least 10 years of service to the sport of bowling through the board of directors, league affiliation, or promotion of the bowling game. Includes years of service to associations that merged into the St. Joe Valley USBC Association - Mishawaka Bowling Association, South Bend Bowling Association, South Bend-Mishawaka Women's Bowling Association. Excludes SJV YABA and SJV USBC YA.

  • Posthumous awards will be presented to next of kin.

Superior Performance

  • Twenty (20) years of membership in the St. Joe Valley USBC Assocation. Includes years of service in associations that merged in the St. Joe Valley USBC Association - Mishawaka Bowling Association, South Bend Bowling Association, South Bend-Mishawaka Women's Association. Excludes SJV YABA and SJV USBCYA.

  • Recorded past performance of the bowling game. (See nomination form)

  • Meet the minimum requirements of 600 points for women and 800 points for men.

  • Posthumous awards will be presented to next of kin.

Star of Yesteryear

  • Recognition for those individuals who have contributed immeasurable service to the game of bowling in league or local association or past superior performance in the game of bowling.

  • Posthumous awards will be presented to next of kin.
